BIO

Voice and keyboard, plus interesting and vibrant swagger through the contagious foot-stompers, acoustic songstress Laura Bailey is bringing us fun and witty hooks and melodies in her sparkling way. Drawing influences from the unlikely and varied sources includes Russian folk, blues and 1930’s community sing-alongs, inspirations also from talents of creating appealing ballads to keep Laura’s songs accessible.

Quote from the music magazine The Ark Preston says “Laura’s songs were short explosions of ideas that are gone before you’ve had time to really ruminate on them”. Truly, Laura’s music is succinct and inspiriting, but some other ballads just disclose a smokier, attractive, vulnerable side.

Laura is on the lookout for gigs to perform her piano led pop in grimy indie clubs, trendy up market coffee bars and muddy outdoor festivals. If you want hear more of her music, why not just go to her gigs? It will be a pleasure to watch!
